On 12 September in Waterloo, the Collective of Protective Parents of Belgium is holding a special evening: it celebrates the birth of our non-profit and brings together the people who make child protection happen day after day.
Parents, psychologists, lawyers, professionals, associations and committed citizens: everyone has a place here. We will come to exchange, to discover initiatives and to spark collaborations, because protecting children is a collective responsibility.
The atmosphere will be friendly and family-minded: children are welcome, and the evening is above all a chance to meet.
An evening that funds our work
Entry is €10 per person, two drinks included. Children under 16 get in free. Proceeds fund the Collective’s work and its support for families.
The programme of the evening
On 12 September, we want to take the time to meet differently. Parents, professionals, associations, institutions, partners and committed citizens: an evening to exchange, build connections… and simply enjoy a good moment together.
⚠️ Entry will be paused between 5:45 and 6:45 PM so the official presentation can run smoothly. If you would like to attend it, plan to arrive before 5:45 PM. Entry resumes as normal from 6:45 PM.

🎤 Official presentation of the CPPB
The moment to tell you why the Collective of Protective Parents of Belgium was born, what we have already built and, above all, what we want to move forward. Alongside protective parents, we will share our findings, our actions and our ambitions for the months ahead.
Because behind this inauguration lies one conviction above all: protecting children is a collective responsibility, and our voices carry much further when they come together. A presentation made possible with the support of Total Request Event.

6:30 PM · Live
🎸 The Hunsons
Then over to the music: The Hunsons will play live as the evening gets going. And above all: we meet, we talk, we build connections, bridges… and why not a few viaducts.

From 6:30 PM
🍝 The kitchen opens
The kitchen opens with cones of pasta at gentle prices. And because a good evening deserves a sweet note, our partner Dely Belgian Waffles will treat young and old to Belgian waffles. Those with a sweet tooth will not be forgotten: Galler and La Biscuiterie Namuroise have also set aside a few treats to share. The bar will of course stay open all evening.

All evening
🎈 And for the children?
Because an evening devoted to child protection had to be designed with children, not just around them, several activities await them. All evening: a bouncy castle, made possible with the support of Let’s Be Geek, and duck fishing. From 6:30 to 7:30 PM: face painting. And a few more surprises await them thanks to Fox & Cie, who chose to join the evening to spoil them.

Afterwards
✨ And then?
We stay. We talk. We enjoy. No round tables, no long conferences: the whole point of this evening is to let people who often act each in their own corner truly meet. A drink, a conversation, an unexpected encounter can be the start of a collaboration. That is exactly what we hope to spark on 12 September.
