Colloquium “Incest and the denial of a child’s voice”

A day at UNamur to rethink, together, the responses given to children who are victims of incest and to the parents who protect them.

When
Saturday, September 26, 2026 · 09:00 AM
Where
UNamur — Amphithéâtre D02 Rue Grandgagnage, 5000 Namur

On 26 September, UNamur devotes a full day to a question the Collective has carried from the start: what do we do with a child’s voice when it is inconvenient?

The colloquium brings together professionals, researchers, associations, victims and political leaders around the denial of a child’s voice, poly-victimisation and the fight of protective parents. The aim is to come out of it with proposals for structural, cross-sector reform, and not only with a shared diagnosis.

The day is organised by the Femmes Engagées of the provinces of Liège and Namur. Entry is free, but registration is required, and childcare is provided throughout the day.

The full programme and the speakers will be added here shortly.
